Helmut FischerChief Executive Officer

Helmut Fischer, aged 65, is a seasoned international real estate investment executive with over 35 years of experience in development and project finance, primarily focused on the Polish and U.S. markets.

Throughout his career, Helmut has successfully delivered more than 100 commercial real estate projects across various sectors, including office, energy, industrial, retail, and hospitality, with a total value exceeding EUR 4 billion. His expertise lies in crafting tailored financial solutions for optimizing investment transactions and enhancing senior debt banking mechanisms, working closely with global funds and local banking institutions.

From 1992 to 2006, Helmut worked at HypoVereinsbank, beginning as a risk analyst in their New York office and ultimately becoming Managing Director (Board Member) for HypoVereinsbank in Poland. He led the real estate division, managing projects for international investors and developers. Notable projects under his leadership include the Stary Browar Shopping Center in Poznań (development and investment funding), recognized as the best shopping center in the world in 2008 by the International Council of Shopping Centers (60,000 m² GLA / EUR 120M), and the Warsaw Financial Centre (WFC), an iconic 50,000 m² office project in downtown Warsaw (EUR 107M). He secured EUR 626M acquisition financing for the M1 portfolio of regional shopping malls for Apollo Rida, which won the Eurobuild Award 2004 for Investment Deal of the Decade.

In 2006, Helmut joined Griffin as Managing Director and Senior Partner, where he was leading the first real estate mezzanine and bridge finance vehicles for international investors including the Abu Dhabi Investment Council or Oaktree Capital Management. Both investments with a total committed capital in the level of EUR 125M and EUR 330M.From 2015 to 2019, Helmut served as CEO and Founding Partner at Capital2B, where he successfully managed development and investment finance for a retail parks portfolio across Poland. This included financing for the Quick Park projects (85,000 m² GLA), with QP Mysłowice being named the best small shopping center in CEE under 15,000 m² GLA in 2016 by Europa Property Magazine.

Since 2020, Helmut has been providing independent consulting services to U.S. and Polish investors in the EU, U.S., and Middle Eastern markets, focusing on the energy, industrial, and residential sectors. His projects included 15 solar farm developments in the Middle East, a USD 100M micro vertical axis wind turbine initiative for rural public facilities, and a USD 2 billion waterpower plant in the Middle East.

Mariusz BiesiackiChief Construction Officer

Mariusz Biesiacki, aged 50, stands out as a seasoned Project Manager with over 25 years of extensive experience in the construction and engineering industry. A graduate from the Lodz University of Technology with a degree in Civil Engineering, Mariusz has effectively managed and successfully completed more than 20 high-profile projects across diverse sectors such as energy, oil and gas, industrial, retail, office, and hospitality.

Throughout his illustrious career, Mariusz has exemplified exceptional leadership in heading various project teams, consistently delivering complex projects both on time and within budget. His recent endeavors include overseeing the construction of Built-to-Suit (BTS) Data Centers, notably the Microsoft Data Center (24 MW) and the Microsoft Data Center (4.8 MW), where he excelled as the Construction Project Manager.

Mariusz’s role is underscored by a unique blend of technical proficiency and managerial prowess. He is well-versed in FIDIC contract terms and holds unrestricted construction licenses, empowering him to direct and supervise HVAC and MEP installations. As a certified member of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP), he commands an authoritative presence in managing the electrical dimensions of projects, ensuring thorough oversight and exceptional quality control.

Jerzy KotkowskiChief Investment Officer

Jerzy Kotkowski, aged 50, is a distinguished investment professional with over two decades of expertise in finance, investment management, and corporate governance. A graduate of the prestigious Warsaw School of Economics, Jerzy’s credentials include certifications as a Member of Supervisory Boards in State Treasury Companies (issued by the Polish Ministry of Treasury), and Certified Investment Advisor.

Jerzy’s career commenced in 1999 as a World Bank Representative in the Department of Capital Funds at the Ministry of Treasury, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing capital investment initiatives. In 2000, he transitioned to PKO BP, Poland’s largest state-owned bank, serving as an investment specialist, where he honed his expertise in financial management and strategic investments.
From 2002 to 2005, Jerzy advanced to the role of CFO at several portfolio companies under the National Investment Fund NFI Progres. His leadership and financial acumen were instrumental in driving the growth and profitability of these entities.
In 2009, Jerzy was appointed President of the Board of National Investment Fund Zachodni. During this tenure, he led the successful transformation of VIS Investycje, a key portfolio company. By re-zoning a non-operational brownfield factory from industrial to residential use, Jerzy facilitated its sale to JW Construction, one of Poland’s premier residential developers. This strategic move resulted in the development of Varsovia, a landmark residential project with a sales area of 125,000 m².
From 2012 to 2014, Jerzy served as a Board Member at subsidiary companies in PKP S.A. Group, Poland’s state-owned railway operator. In this capacity, he supervised the employee pension fund, which served approximately 400,000 participants. PKP S.A. is one of the country’s largest property managers, overseeing an extensive portfolio of land, buildings, and infrastructure, including electric and fiber networks.
Jerzy continued to make significant contributions to the real estate sector from 2014 to 2017 as CFO of Polnord, a leading Polish residential developer listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Under his financial leadership, Polnord delivered a robust portfolio of residential projects across Poland, culminating in the sale of over 2,000 apartments. The company’s flagship development, Miasteczko Wilanów, earned the prestigious Global Award for Excellence from the Urban Land Institute.
From 2019 to 2021, Jerzy served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Rockbridge Investment Fund. Under his stewardship, Rockbridge developed highly attractive investment instruments, which resulted in the fund’s assets being valued over 1 billion EUR. Jerzy Kotkowski’s career is marked by his strategic vision, financial expertise, and exceptional leadership in both the real estate and investment sectors. Robert HostyńskiChief Real Estate Officer

Robert Hostyński, aged 59, is a seasoned real estate professional with over 25 years of experience in managing large-scale projects for leading global organizations. A graduate of the University of Szczecin with a master’s degree, Robert further enhanced his expertise with an MBA from The Nottingham Trent University and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography at Warsaw University of Technology. He holds the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) designations, underscoring his deep knowledge and commitment to the real estate industry.

Throughout his extensive career, Robert has held senior management positions with major corporations such as AMOCO (2 years), SHELL (10 years), METRO GROUP (10 years), and CITIBANK (2 years). His recent role at AXI IMMO GROUP as a Senior Consultant in the Data Center sector reflects his adaptability and forward-thinking approach. In this capacity, Robert has been instrumental in advancing a potential large-scale Data Center project in Poland, focusing on building strong relationships with local authorities and establishing a solid foundation for future investments. Robert’s career is marked by a goal-oriented approach, with a proven track record of successfully completing over 100 real estate projects. His exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with landlords, international investors, and advisors has been a cornerstone of his success.

    Robert managed a portfolio of 30 Metro Group Makro Cash & Carry Stores, 200 hectares of land, including 40 hectares of excess properties earmarked for potential investments. This portfolio included 450,000 m² of Gross Leasable Area (GLA), generating EUR 36 million in annual rent and valued at EUR 350 million.
  • Land Acquisition:
    At Shell Robert managed the land acquisition process across Poland, securing 70 strategic sites with a total CAPEX of approximately USD 100 million. Robert managed as well a substantial real estate portfolio comprising of 325 Shell petrol stations in Poland.

Artur Kucharski is a seasoned project manager and electrical engineering expert with over 20 years of experience, specializing in the design and implementation of critical infrastructure for data centers. He has a longstanding career at Schneider Electric and has expanded his professional journey at Hill International, where he significantly contributed to the data center sector. Artur’s expertise centers around managing large-scale data center projects, focusing on high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) systems that are essential for robust data center operations. From 2021 to 2024, Artur served as a project manager at Hill International, where he was responsible for the execution of design and construction of HV substations and all electrical systems for the first Microsoft data center built in Poland. This role highlighted his ability to oversee complex projects from the ground up, ensuring all phases met stringent industry standards and operational excellence.

  • Vantage HV Substation 3x55MVA: Artur played a key role in providing high-level commissioning support, ensuring adherence to quality standards set by business partners. His robust energy expertise and professional attitude were vital during the execution and testing phases of HV & MV systems.
  • Microsoft HV Substation 2x45MVA: This project was pivotal for the entire WAW DC Campus, where Artur was responsible for the execution and commissioning phases up to OC certifications, including coordination with fire services. His efforts were instrumental in engaging and establishing support from critical stakeholders for this high-priority energy project.
  • Microsoft Data Center (25MW): As the project manager, Artur was responsible for securing all electrical permits and overseeing the construction of redundant owner substations. His leadership ensured that all installations met stringent compliance and safety standards, significantly contributing to the data center’s operational readiness and sustainability.
  • Microsoft Data Center (4.8MW): Artur led the electrical aspects of this project, managing the permits, installation, and successful commissioning of electrical systems. His effective collaboration with contractors, engineers, and local authorities enabled the swift execution of this crucial infrastructure.

Bastian graduated from Bednarska Szkoła Realna with a degree focused on multimedia and artistic studies. Bastian worked as a freelancer, offering his design and creative services to various small businesses and startups. During this time, he developed a strong foundation in graphic design, branding, and content creation, which led to his later roles in the marketing industry.

  • Lead Designer at Meliorate (App Project): Bastian played a crucial role as the lead designer for Meliorate, a mobile application. He was responsible for crafting the brand design, developing the app’s UX/UI, and producing animations and promotional videos.
  • Graphic Designer for “Origins” (Coffee Brand): Bastian created a cohesive visual identity for the coffee brand “Origins” that included package design, marketing materials, and promotional content. His work helped establish the brand’s distinctive image in a competitive market.

In 2023, he joined ARC Capital Markets, an independent pan-European institutional real estate investment advisory firm. Bastian was an associate and a key member of the marketing team, where he was responsible for creating marketing content, designing posts, graphics, videos, and animations. This role allowed him to refine his skills in digital media and marketing communication while working on a variety of content strategies.
